Getting Started

What is vBuy?▾
vBuy is the UK’s multi-vendor marketplace where every purchase earns you v£ rewards. We connect you with independent shops selling products across categories like electronics, fashion, health & beauty, and more. Unlike traditional cashback reward sites, rewards are built into every transaction automatically.
How do I create an account?▾
Click “Sign In” in the top-right corner and select “Register”. You’ll need to provide your name, email address, and phone number. After registration you’ll receive a verification email — click the link to activate your account and start shopping.
Do I need an account to shop?▾
Yes, an account is required to make purchases on vBuy. This is because every purchase earns v£ rewards, which are stored in your personal v£ wallet. Creating an account is free and takes less than a minute.
Is vBuy free to use?▾
Absolutely. Creating an account and browsing products is completely free. You only pay when you make a purchase. There are no subscription fees, membership charges, or hidden costs.

v£ Rewards

What are v£ rewards?▾
v£ (pronounced “v-pounds”) are digital reward credits you earn on every purchase. They work like vouchers — you can spend them at checkout on future orders at a fixed rate of v£1 = £1. They are not cash, cryptocurrency, or legal tender.
How do I earn v£?▾
v£ are earned automatically on every purchase. The reward percentage varies by product (set by the shop, minimum 5%) and is clearly displayed on each product listing. Rewards are calculated on the GBP-paid portion of your order, including shipping costs.
How much is v£1 worth?▾
v£1 = £1 at checkout, always. This rate is fixed and will not change. When you apply v£ at checkout, each v£ reduces your GBP total by exactly £1.
Why are my v£ rewards “pending”?▾
v£ earned on a purchase stay pending for 30 days after payment, the period in which most refunds and returns happen. If an item is refunded, its reward is taken back. During this period you can see the rewards in your wallet but cannot spend them. After 30 days they become available automatically.
Can I withdraw v£ as cash?▾
No. v£ rewards can only be spent on future purchases on the vBuy platform at the rate of v£1 = £1. They cannot be withdrawn as cash, transferred to another user, or exchanged outside the platform.
Do v£ expire?▾
No. v£ rewards do not have an expiry date as long as your account remains active and in good standing.
Can I buy v£ directly?▾
Yes, you can purchase v£ at a rate of £1 = v£1 through approved channels such as Vowchers voucher codes. Purchased v£ follow the same usage rules as earned v£.
Do I earn v£ on the part I pay with v£?▾
No. v£ rewards are earned only on the GBP-paid portion of your order. If you use v£15 on a £100 order, you earn rewards on the £85 you paid in GBP, not on the v£15.

Shopping & Orders

How does multi-vendor checkout work?▾
Your cart can contain products from multiple shops. When you check out, you place one order and each shop dispatches its own items separately. Each shop fulfils and ships their products independently. v£ discounts are split proportionally across all shops based on their share of the total.
Will I receive multiple deliveries?▾
If you buy from multiple shops in one order, yes — each shop ships their items separately. You’ll receive a separate tracking update for each shop’s shipment. Shipping costs are charged per shop.
What happens to pending orders?▾
Orders left in “pending payment” status are automatically cancelled after 24 hours. You can also cancel a pending order manually at any time. If an order is cancelled, any v£ rewards that were locked for it are released back to your wallet.
Who am I buying from — vBuy or the shop?▾
Products are listed and sold by independent third-party shops. Your purchase contract is with the shop. vBuy operates the marketplace, processes payments, manages the v£ reward system, and provides dispute resolution.

Payments

What payment methods are accepted?▾
Debit and credit cards, processed securely by Stripe, and your v£ rewards. If your v£ cover the whole order, no card payment is needed.
Is my payment information secure?▾
Yes. All payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Your full card details are never stored on our servers — they are sent directly to Stripe’s secure infrastructure.
How do I use v£ at checkout?▾
At checkout, you’ll see your available v£ balance and an option to apply it. You can choose how much v£ to use — any amount up to your full available balance. The v£ amount is deducted from your GBP total at a rate of v£1 = £1.

Refunds & Returns

How do I request a refund?▾
Go to “My Account → Orders”, open the order and click “Request Refund” next to the item, then choose a reason (for example faulty, damaged or changed my mind). If the shop has not dispatched the item yet, it approves or rejects the request. If it has, the shop may ask you to send the item back first: you post it to the return address shown, click “I’ve sent it”, and the shop decides once it has the item. When a refund is approved, vBuy pays it to your original payment method, and any v£ you used go back to your wallet.
What happens to my v£ rewards if I get a refund?▾
All v£ reward movements associated with the refunded item(s) are automatically reversed. If you earned v£10 on a product and then refund it, those v£10 are removed from your wallet. If you paid with v£, those v£ are returned to your wallet.
Can I receive my refund as v£ instead of cash?▾
Yes. When a refund is approved, you can choose to receive the GBP portion as v£ instead, plus a 5% bonus on the GBP amount. For example, a £50 GBP refund would give you v£52.50 instead. This option is completely voluntary.
What if the shop rejects my refund?▾
If a shop rejects your refund request, you can raise a dispute. You are allowed one dispute per rejection. The vBuy admin team will review evidence from both you and the shop, and their decision is final. You can provide text evidence and upload supporting files.
Can I refund individual items from a multi-product order?▾
Yes. Each item in a multi-product order can be refunded independently. Refunding one item does not affect the rest of your order. The order status will show “Partially Refunded” if some items remain.

Live Shows

What is a live show?▾
Shops approved by vBuy sell in live video shows: they show their products, answer questions in the chat and sell at a price set for the show. You can see what is live now and what is coming up on the Live page.
Do I need an account to watch?▾
No. Anyone can watch. Sound is off until you tap to turn it on. To chat or buy you need to sign in, and you come straight back to the show afterwards.
How do I chat, and what is my nickname?▾
Sign in and type in the chat box. The first time, you pick a nickname of 3 to 20 characters: that is the name other viewers see, never your real name. You can change it at any time with “Change nickname”. Please keep to the chat rules.
How do I buy in a show?▾
Tap Buy on the item. A panel shows the price, delivery, any v£ used, what goes on your card and your v£ reward. Tap “Pay £X” to buy. It is a normal vBuy order, with a confirmation email and the same rewards, refunds and returns as any other order.
Why is delivery £0.00 on my next item?▾
Further items you buy from the same shop in the same show, of the same parcel size and to the same address, go in the same parcel, so there is no extra delivery charge. Items the shop charges delivery per item still pay their own delivery.
What is one-tap buying?▾
With one-tap buying on, one tap on “Buy now £X” buys the item straight away with your saved card, your v£ first if you chose that, and delivery to your saved address. It is off until you switch it on, and you choose a limit per show (£50, £100, £250 or £500). The panel opens instead when there is something to check, or when a purchase would take your spending in that show over your limit. Switch it off at any time in the show or in My Account → Payment methods.
How are saved cards kept?▾
When you pay in a show you can tick “Save this card”. Stripe stores the card; vBuy never sees or keeps the full card number, only the card type, the last 4 digits, the expiry date and Stripe’s reference to the card. You can save up to 3 cards and remove them in My Account → Payment methods, which also removes them from Stripe.
Can I return something I bought in a show?▾
Yes. Show purchases are normal orders: you can cancel within 14 days after you receive the item and request a refund from My Account → Orders, exactly as for any other order.
How do I report a message?▾
While the show is running, tap the message and choose Report, then pick a reason. vBuy looks at every report. A message reported by 3 different people with a confirmed email address is hidden until vBuy has checked it (messages from the shop, its helpers and vBuy are not hidden this way).
What is a helper?▾
A shop may ask people who chat in its shows to help keep the chat friendly. If you accept, you get a “Helper” badge in that shop’s shows and can delete messages, time people out and ban them there. Helpers are volunteers and can step down at any time.
Why can’t I chat or buy in a show?▾
The shop, its helpers or vBuy may have timed you out (you can chat again after 10 minutes) or banned you from that show or from all that shop’s shows. You can still watch. Your chat box says what applies. If you think it is a mistake, contact us.
Are live shows recorded?▾
Yes. vBuy records the shop’s video and sound in every show (viewers are not filmed) and keeps the chat. Recordings and chat are kept for 180 days to settle disputes and for safety, and are not shown to the public. See our Privacy Policy.

Account & Security

How do I reset my password?▾
Click “Sign In” and then “Lost your password?” Enter your email address and we’ll send you a password reset link. Follow the link to set a new password.
Where can I see my v£ balance?▾
Your v£ balance is displayed in the header of every page when you’re logged in. For a detailed breakdown (available, pending, and total), visit “My Account → v£ Wallet”.
How is my personal data protected?▾
We take data protection seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Payment processing is handled by PCI DSS-certified Stripe. We comply with UK GDPR and never sell your personal data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I delete my account?▾
Yes. Under UK GDPR you have the right to request deletion of your account and personal data. Contact us at privacy@vbuy.io. Please note that some data (order records, financial transactions) must be retained for up to 7 years under HMRC requirements.

For Shops

How do I sell on vBuy?▾
Visit our Merchant Registration page to apply. You’ll need to provide business details, upload KYB documentation, and await approval from our admin team. Once approved, you can start listing products immediately.
Does vBuy charge commission on sales?▾
No. vBuy charges zero commission on sales. Our revenue comes from the v£ reward system, not from shop fees. This means you keep more of your revenue compared to traditional marketplaces.
How do shop v£ rewards work?▾
As a shop owner, you purchase v£ from vBuy at a multiplied rate (e.g. £1 buys v£2). You set a cashback reward percentage on each product (minimum 5%). When a customer buys your product, v£ rewards are automatically distributed from your shop wallet to the customer.
What can my shop do with the v£ from its sales?▾
The v£ from your sales go to your Acceptance wallet. Once the sell-back period after dispatch has passed, you can sell them back to vBuy (currently £0.80 per v£1, paid by bank transfer). From 30 days after dispatch you can also move them to your Distribution wallet to fund your customers’ rewards, or spend them on vBuy at £1 per v£1 when you buy from other shops (shop purchases earn no v£ rewards, and you can’t buy from your own offers).
Can my shop sell in live shows?▾
Yes, once vBuy approves your shop for Live Selling: apply from Store Manager → Live Selling. You need a UK business address (tester shops approved before the UK rule are exempt for now) and delivery methods for the offers you want to show. Your first 3 shows are free; after that each show costs the go-live fee (currently v£5), paid from the v£ in your Acceptance wallet that may be spent on vBuy, with 60 minutes included and v£5 for each extra hour (up to 4 hours). The Live Selling Terms apply.
