Getting Started
What is vBuy?▾
vBuy is the UK’s multi-vendor marketplace where every purchase earns you v£ rewards. We connect you with independent merchants selling products across categories like electronics, fashion, health & beauty, and more. Unlike traditional cashback sites, rewards are built into every transaction automatically.
How do I create an account?▾
Click “Sign In” in the top-right corner and select “Register”. You’ll need to provide your name, email address, and phone number. After registration you’ll receive a verification email — click the link to activate your account and start shopping.
Do I need an account to shop?▾
Yes, an account is required to make purchases on vBuy. This is because every purchase earns v£ rewards, which are stored in your personal v£ wallet. Creating an account is free and takes less than a minute.
Is vBuy free to use?▾
Absolutely. Creating an account and browsing products is completely free. You only pay when you make a purchase. There are no subscription fees, membership charges, or hidden costs.
v£ Rewards
What are v£ rewards?▾
v£ (pronounced “v-pounds”) are digital reward credits you earn on every purchase. They work like vouchers — you can spend them at checkout on future orders at a fixed rate of v£1 = £1. They are not cash, cryptocurrency, or legal tender.
How do I earn v£?▾
v£ are earned automatically on every purchase. The reward percentage varies by product (set by the merchant, minimum 8%) and is clearly displayed on each product listing. Rewards are calculated on the GBP-paid portion of your order, including shipping costs.
How much is v£1 worth?▾
v£1 = £1 at checkout, always. This rate is fixed and will not change. When you apply v£ at checkout, each v£ reduces your GBP total by exactly £1.
Why are my v£ rewards “pending”?▾
All v£ earned from a purchase are subject to a mandatory 30-day pending period before they become available to spend. This is required by consumer protection regulations and cannot be overridden. During this period you can see the rewards in your wallet but cannot use them. After 30 days they automatically become available.
Can I withdraw v£ as cash?▾
No. v£ rewards can only be spent on future purchases on the vBuy platform at the rate of v£1 = £1. They cannot be withdrawn as cash, transferred to another user, or exchanged outside the platform.
Do v£ expire?▾
No. v£ rewards do not have an expiry date as long as your account remains active and in good standing.
Can I buy v£ directly?▾
Yes, you can purchase v£ at a rate of £1 = v£1 through approved channels such as Vowchers voucher codes. Purchased v£ follow the same usage rules as earned v£.
Do I earn v£ on the part I pay with v£?▾
No. v£ rewards are earned only on the GBP-paid portion of your order. If you use v£15 on a £100 order, you earn rewards on the £85 you paid in GBP, not on the v£15.
Shopping & Orders
How does multi-vendor checkout work?▾
Your cart can contain products from multiple merchants. When you checkout, a separate sub-order is created for each merchant. Each merchant fulfils and ships their products independently. v£ discounts are split proportionally across all merchants based on their share of the total.
Will I receive multiple deliveries?▾
If you buy from multiple merchants in one order, yes — each merchant ships their items separately. You’ll receive a separate tracking update for each merchant’s shipment. Shipping costs are charged per merchant.
What happens to pending orders?▾
Orders left in “pending payment” status are automatically cancelled after 24 hours. You can also cancel a pending order manually at any time. If an order is cancelled, any v£ rewards that were locked for it are released back to your wallet.
Who am I buying from — vBuy or the merchant?▾
Products are listed and sold by independent third-party merchants. Your purchase contract is with the merchant. vBuy operates the marketplace, processes payments, manages the v£ reward system, and provides dispute resolution.
Payments
What payment methods are accepted?▾
We currently accept credit and debit card payments processed securely through Stripe. Additional payment methods including open banking (Trilo) and voucher codes (Vowchers) are being added soon.
Is my payment information secure?▾
Yes. All payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Your full card details are never stored on our servers — they are sent directly to Stripe’s secure infrastructure.
How do I use v£ at checkout?▾
At checkout, you’ll see your available v£ balance and an option to apply it. You can choose how much v£ to use — any amount up to your full available balance. The v£ amount is deducted from your GBP total at a rate of v£1 = £1.
Refunds & Returns
How do I request a refund?▾
Go to “My Account → Orders”, find the order, and click “Request Refund”. Select the item(s) you want to refund and provide a reason. The merchant will review your request and approve or reject it. If approved, vBuy processes the GBP refund to your original payment method.
What happens to my v£ rewards if I get a refund?▾
All v£ reward movements associated with the refunded item(s) are automatically reversed. If you earned v£10 on a product and then refund it, those v£10 are removed from your wallet. If you paid with v£, those v£ are returned to your wallet.
Can I receive my refund as v£ instead of cash?▾
Yes. When a refund is approved, you can choose to receive the GBP portion as v£ instead, plus a 5% bonus on the GBP amount. For example, a £50 GBP refund would give you v£52.50 instead. This option is completely voluntary.
What if the merchant rejects my refund?▾
If a merchant rejects your refund request, you can raise a dispute. You are allowed one dispute per rejection. The vBuy admin team will review evidence from both you and the merchant, and their decision is final. You can provide text evidence and upload supporting files.
Can I refund individual items from a multi-product order?▾
Yes. Each item in a multi-product order can be refunded independently. Refunding one item does not affect the rest of your order. The order status will show “Partially Refunded” if some items remain.
Account & Security

For Merchants
How do I sell on vBuy?▾
Visit our Merchant Registration page to apply. You’ll need to provide business details, upload KYC documentation, and await approval from our admin team. Once approved, you can start listing products immediately.
Does vBuy charge commission on sales?▾
No. vBuy charges zero commission on sales. Our revenue comes from the v£ reward system, not from merchant fees. This means you keep more of your revenue compared to traditional marketplaces.
How do merchant v£ rewards work?▾
As a merchant, you purchase v£ from vBuy at a multiplied rate (e.g. £1 buys v£2). You set a cashback reward percentage on each product (minimum 8%). When a customer buys your product, v£ rewards are automatically distributed from your merchant wallet to the customer.
